Lockdown Plus PC disallows changes in the Windows configuration, such as Control Panel, Desktop, Local Security Policies, Outlook Express account settings and others. It can disable access to local hard disks, Floppy, CD-ROM, and removable drives or make them read-only. By locking and hiding or making read-only of programs, files, and folders, Lockdown Plus PC can prevent them from being launched, modified or deleted. It supports creating unlimited number of user accounts with each one has his own password and protection list. It works with FAT/FAT32/NTFS and with Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 Operating Systems.
Note: This software is delivered by download, which leaves a much smaller ecological footprint compared to producing and shipping a CD/DVD and its associated packaging through traditional retail distribution channels. Your license key will be delivered by e-mail. Optionally, you can back up the downloaded software to a CD, USB drive, or other removable media.
